Since 1969 we bring the best coffee from across the world to our land.
We travel to select high-quality coffees and roast them with passion and experience, to obtain precious coffee blends with a unique taste and delicious aroma.

 

1. WE TAKE CARE OF EVERY COFFEE TO BEGIN WITH

Here at Italcaffè, we believe that every coffee bean is unique to create a high-quality espresso coffee.

For this reason, we select the best green coffee coming from three continent – Central and South America, Africa and Asia – to make every coffee blend truly unique.

The beans we choose are carefully selected one by one and then cleaned to be prepared for the following roastery steps.

 

THE TOASTING: THE MAGIC BEGIN

Technology and expertise come together for the toasting, the step that brings the magic of our espresso coffee to life.

With the action of the heat, every green coffee bean is transformed as it changes colour, weight, size and volume.

During toasting, every coffee bean also develops its peculiar features: this is the real magic, the one that makes every coffee blend unique in its flavor and aroma.

 

3. AND NOW WHERE IS OUR COFFEE GOING?

Once toasted and cooled, our coffee is sent to storage silos waiting to reach the different packaging lines.

The production step changes according to the final product and our coffee may undertake two different paths:

  • That of coffee beans
  • Or that of ground coffee: in this case, coffee is ground by paying particular attention to its right granulometry as to obtain the best extraction for both moka pot and home espresso machine

 

4. TO EVERY COFFEE ITS TAILOR MADE PACKAGE

Once produced, our coffee needs the right package to preserve its features.
That’s why Italcaffè uses modern packaging plants..

Coffee beans are packaged in protective atmosphere with unidirectional aroma protection valve while ground coffee is packaged in a vacuum.

The reason of this choice? We want to provide our customers with completely hermetic packs so as to protect our coffee blends from all the atmospheric agents that may alter their flavor and aroma..

 

5.FROM THE WAREHOUSE TO OUR CUSTOMERS: WE TAKE CARE OF FLAVOR

After the packaging steps, every pack of coffee is stocked and stored with care and attention.
All the packs are ready to be shipped to our customers.
From this moment, Italcaffè aroma can be enjoyed by everybody

 

6. WE CONSTANTLY MONITOR OUR WORK

Over its 50 years of expertise, Italcaffè has adopted strict control procedures to guarantee the reliability of its raw materials purchase process of as well as its processing.

This is verified and certified on a yearly basis according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
